Major smartphone and computer operating systems ship with built-in apps to manage emails. Windows 11 also ships with an app called Mail to manage your emails.
The Mail app in Windows 11 is more or less the Mail app available in its predecessor Windows 10. It supports multiple email accounts across all webmail services, including Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo!, Office 365, and Exchange.
In addition to standard features, focused inbox, options to link inboxes (to see all emails from multiple accounts in a single inbox), customizable swipe actions, and support for keyboard shortcuts make it a competitive desktop email client.
The Mail app has everything you expect to see a good email app. That said, it cannot compete with Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird when it comes to features and options.
The built-in Mail app has matured and is no longer buggy. It opens fast and works smoothly. That said, if you encounter any issues with the Mail app, you can reinstall the same to address the issue.
This guide will show you how to reinstall the Mail app in Windows 11.
